Vermillion of Sealing
Thee dwarf Bildelderikal created this pigment, presented in a bottle to Aedan of Greyrise in 1051. It is a bright red pigment that, when placed across two adjoining surfaces in a stripe will bind those surfaces together as if they are joined by an unbreakable bar. They will remain so sealed until the pigment is washed away.
It has the property that when a stripe of the pigment is drawn across two adjacent surfaces those two surfaces become locked together until the pigment is scrubbed away. As Bildelderikal himself put it, it would be easier to shatter the two solid surfaces than cause the bond to fail.
