The High Keep

The former seat of House Genlith, located in the heart of The Genlith Marsh.
Construction began in 355 under Fosgar, Chieftain of Genlith who wanted a secure fortress away from the borderlands, and was completed in 401 under Merastan, Chieftain of Genlith who was the first to make it his full-time residence.
Once a magnificent example of defensive architecture and grandeur, it fell into ruin after the death of Count Craden, the mad lord of Genlith whose atrocities unleashed the wrath of gods and men upon him. What remains of the once grand citadel is now said to be haunted and therefore shunned by all.
