Elminval

Elminval was born in the small town of Bandesbridge in the mountains eastward of Esdrun, his family a warrior in the service of House Krennel
He was raised to be a loyal servant of House Krennel and trained in the arts of combat under his father and other warriors. His father was a worshipper of The Iron Face albeit a secret one since faith in the Fallen Gods was discouraged. His father passed on the tenets of the faith to Elminval who felt strongly inspired by the ideals of The Iron Face. On reaching the age of manhood he became a warrior in the service of House Krennel and also took his initiation into the worship of The Iron Face, swearing the oaths and dedicating himself to that cause.

Toward the end of his life he realised that he was the last of the believers that he had known, although some vestiges of tradition still existed among older warriors and in customs shared by warriors. He did not despair though, for he had faith that The Iron Face would provide some continuity, and added his own prayers and deeds to that cause.
Prior to his death he encountered Lady Keydis and her companions and passed on the wisdom he had gathered about his faith before returning home to Esdrun. His soul at peace he died shortly afterward.
