Toly Crelenet was the last of his line and the sole owner of Calden Keep. Having great respect for the Shields of Nightfall, and having seen the small temple they worked out of, he willed the Keep to the knights, as he had no living heirs. His gift has remained the headquarters of the Shields ever since.
