Lanercost (ˈLAN-er-kost)

The county of Lanercost is the northernmost county in Troyso. It is a harsh and difficult land, primarily moorlands of rolling heath. The main industry of Lanercost is wool production, as the heath-land is perfect for grazers like sheep and goats. There is also some industry in the ocean fishing trade, including whaling. The county seat of Lanercost is the town of Coldmere, which also serves as the ducal seat of Brittlecairn.
