Laxius Seerym

Laxius is a powerful Drow wizard and one of the remaining members of the Twelve Apostles. He specializes in infiltration and astromancy, combining facets of divination and evocation in order to harness the power of the celestial bodies for his magic.
Unlike the other Apostles, Laxius harbors a deep hatred towards both Nultial and Bane. Having been chosen by Bane and not Lolth, he was cast out from his home in Menzoberranzan and left to die.
Seeking vengeance against both the Church of Bane as well as those who wronged him, he formed a tentative alliance with the heroes to accomplish his goals. However, the alliance would last only until Nultial was defeated, after which he plotted to release Lolth from the Abyss using Tamamo no Mae(myth:5c9183b2-7586-4346-a3a7-6dade0deac8b) as a vessel and to enslave her using a strand of her hair and the weapon of her former lover. The heroes attempted to stop him, but ultimately failed. Laxius' attempt to call forth the Queen of the Demonweb Pits would also fail, as he inadvertantly released @[Izanami, causing Yomi to spill out into the Material Plane.
Wounded and weakened, Laxius would continue to stalk the heroes as they traveled through Yomi on their crusade to defeat Izanami. Using deceit and manipulation, he was able to steal half of Izanami's Demonic Amulet along with Conradus' corpse to barter the other half from the heroes. As per their agreement, Laxius, with the amulet completed and with complete dominion over Izanami, ordered her to undo Yomi's corrupting influence. With the Demon Lord under his control, Laxius would go on to destroy Menzoberranzan and exact his revenge.
