Ritual based in gestures

There are eight gestures that are commonly used to represent links between living beings. Any of those can be used in this ritual, to connect a living being (considered as the ritual's target) with and object or with the magic itself; followed by a gesture that represents the new life to be formed.   Some wizards can do this ritual without using the second sign immediately. And, even if both are done soon and fast, it can take long after before the first results, specially if the targets shows any kind of resistance.     Source: Magical Energy from the caster and physical energy from the target, and from the magic itself.

Effect

To form creatures in an early stage, using another living being as a source. There is debate about how real those entities are, since they don't last long and don't have a will on its own, even if they belong to a species that has it.

Side/Secondary Effects

  • It debilitates the target
  • It can kill the target.
  • It often debilitates the caster too.
  • Physical Restrictions

  • It can be stopped by the target if their magical skills or determination are strong enough.
  • The caster must have a clear idea of the entity to be formed. It doesn't have to be based in an actual living being, or even be able to survive on its own, but it has to be well defined.
  • Regulations

  • It's illegal to use the ritual using an unwilling human as source
  • It's illegal to cause permanent damage or death on the target used as source.
  • The kind of creatures that can be designed is regulated to reduce risks.
