Modification Rituals

Rituals to modify objects usually require some sort of physical influence on it, whether it is holding the target while pronouncing a poem, draw on the object, or even took or add a piece.

Most modification rituals use magic energy from the magic itself. Each ritual may or may not require certain amount of energy, magic or determination from the caster.

Effect

There are different ritual to cause different types of physical transformation in objects. The characteristics affected more often are:

shape

size

weight (this one is quite difficult)

sound and vibration

chemical properties

Secondary effects

Several modifications may cause other changes. Chemical modification in particular, may change one or more aspects on the object. Some rituals include a way to correct those alterations.

Regulations

Wizards are not allowed to use them without either experience or supervision.

Several of this rituals (most of them affecting chemical properties of the target) are forbidden or require permission.

The caster is responsible for any consequences, direct or indirect, of the modifications.
