Windsong
Windsong (a.k.a. The Wise)
Windsong the mage started off in life as an alchemist for a prominent Tribe of The Celtic Tribes . He soon formed a friendship with a young lord named Subek Krom whom he took to the life of adventure with, and traveled the realms in the company of Ironaxe Stoneforge , and Gorbash the barbarian. After seeing the world through the eyes of an adventurer he turned to the seeking of knowledge in all forms of the arcane and became the foremost scholar in all things magical. When Subek Krom finally gave up the life of an adventurer and assumed the throne of Kromwell he summoned his old friend Windsong to be his royal court mage and high concealer.
As Royal Mage to the King, Windsong set up a school of magic in the capital city of Kromwell where he was able to help shape the best and brightest minds. One of these minds was a young sorcerer named Ahkar . Ahkar excelled and became Windsongs star pupal, but with a thirst for power Ahkar began to dabble in the dark arts. Finding that his star pupal had turned to use dark magic for power, Windsong banished Ahkar, and announced a decree that Ahkar to never be allowed to study magic in all of Norse nations. **(Little did he know that this action would be the catalyst that started The Great War )**
During The Great War Windsong remained at the side of Subek Krom in the defense of Kromwell . During the beginning of the Battle of Kromwell Windsong was able to locate the secret base of Ahkar , and using a forgotten spell was able to teleport a small group of heroes clandestinely into the stronghold. This party of heroes consisted of Subek Krom , Ironaxe Stoneforge , Gorbash, and Windsong himself. After entering the stronghold Windsong and the heroes located Ahkar and vanquished him and his Demon minion Sosomossette , and ended The Great War.
**It is widely beveled that Windsong died in the final battle with Ahkar.

Windsong started his education In the forests of The Celtic Tribes as an Alchemist. Soon he found his way to the city of Kromwell where he began to gain Knowledge of Arcane and the Druidic Arts. After Many Years of Study under the great minds of Jord and as an adventurer traveling with Subek Krom Windsong began a school of magic arts in Kromwell .

Royal Mage and adviser to the King of Kromwell . Windsong has been known to shrug off this duty and go wandering about the realms.

Windsong has Achieved the highest accomplishments in all things of an arcane nature and is widely thought of as the greatest mage of the Fifth Age.

Windsong's greatest failure is that he was the mentor of Ahkar before he turned to study the dark arts.
