Starmantle was the first settlement of civilized people on the world of jord after The Time Before. Quickly Becoming a large populated place Starmantle soon began to draw the best minds of the world to meet and share information. Over the time of centuries the settlement turned into a town, then a city, and eventually it was the largest city in all of Jord.
With the influx of the enlightened Starmantle's people became an advanced culture leading the way in magical studies. Starmantle also had the largest libraries full of now forgotten lore, magic, and knowledge. Legendary mages made Starmantle home, and began various schools of magic. It is rumored that it was a group of mages in search of some forbidden magic that brought doom to the city. All that is now known of that day is that a terrible explosion destroyed the city creating the ruins we now know today.
Now some millennia has passed and Starmantle is just a vast ruin with crumbling walls and scorched foundations. Thrill seekers and brave adventurers come from far and wide to search its vast remains, sifting through the rubble for forgotten treasure and lost knowledge.
Since The Great War the Ruins of starmantle have become home to vast numbers of Monsters seeking shelter after the fall of Ahkar and his influence.
