Tirin

The Tirin people are those whose origin is in Tirin. The united state of Tirin is a relatively new phenomenon, as it has its origins in recent global conflicts. However that is not to say that the region has not been united before, or that it is merely a fictionalized nation.
The people of Tirin, with their vast hills and sub-tropical foliage, always had more in common with each other than with their floodplains neighbors to the north in Ryfin and their plateau-dwelling neighbors in Hadrin. However, in large part due to its geography, pre-modern unity- whether by Ryfin conquest or local empire building- did not typically last long.
