Turnensel
Turnensel rises from the central stretch of the Coastal Trail like an oasis of trade and civilization. Its sprawling market grounds are surrounded by low, adobe buildings and colorful tents that serve as temporary shelters for travelers and merchants alike. Small, orderly plots for caravans dot the outskirts, each with its own fire pit and ample room for animals and traders to rest. Overseeing all is the Serai House—a fortified, tall-walled building with intricate carvings at the entrance. It serves a dual role as guardhouse and customs office. By day, the settlement is alive with a kaleidoscope of goods, voices, and bartering calls, but as dusk approaches, the Serai enforce their strict curfew, and the entire settlement takes on a quiet, disciplined stillness under the glow of lanterns.
