The Alpha Quadrant
The oldest Quadrant in the galaxy with the first sentient races forming there. They spread throughout the galaxy building and terraforming until they had over a hundred planets over the course of five hundred thousand years.
The races continued to grow, slowly expanding before, over the course of three hundred thousand years, created what was called, 'the contraction'.
Their race contracted, declaring war upon each other. The walls of power changed, but things were not improved.
Hundreds of billions died as they changed over time. Thousands of planets and space settlements were destroyed.
But over time the alpha quadrant began to catch up to what it was but not running unilaterally but working individually in their hundreds of thousands.
These peoples having their own titles and rules, running as states, joining to make conglomerates or super leions who invest in each other to achieve goals. There are dozens of races from within. Some naturally evolved, others manufactured.
