The Lenns have worked very hard over the years to shed the rumors of necromancy and cults that hang over their family, and have established themselves as talented (if foreboding) doctors and teachers of medicine. While their family crest conveys "turning over" or undoing death, which many interpret as meaning creating undead, the family insists that it means warding or thwarting the death of others with skillful medicinal practices.
History
House Lenn has its strongest roots sunk into Lillan, on the other side of the mountains, but long ago established a branch in Lockhinge City. It is assumed that this partial migration was to remain close to the rulers of the county, though the motivations and details of the move remain unclear. Rumors range from political marriages carried out in secret, to members of the family being banished from Lillan and settling in Lockhinge. In any case, the strategy worked, and House Lenn has established itself as a powerful House with a strong foundation, despite the upheavals and suspicion that still follows them.
