Lillinosti

An enchanting kingdom of fey magic, woven into the great galabar oaks. Home to the elven races, most of the land is covered in thick forests and home to a vide variety of beasts. Silk is a common export, for the elves have perfected the art of farming silk from giant spiders.

Demography and Population

High elves, wood elves, dark elves, and forest gnomes.   Lillinosti society is divided – high elves make up the upper class, while dark elves make up the lower class. Wood elves exist outside of this structure, but are viewed with derision – the dark elves are envious of their freedom, while the high elves view them as savages for preferring life outside the gleaming cities.

Territories

Lillinosti ranges from temperate to subtropical in the Feywood and Amathiil Foothills. Due to the thickness of the forest canopies, all but the harshest storms are reduced to gentle rains and winds within the woods.

Military

Lillinosti has a relatively small naval presence composed mostly of sleek scouting vessels. The majority of its ground troops include rangers, scouts, and magic users. Utilizing both fey magic and superior knowledge of the surrounding terrain, foes are easily disoriented and dispatched through guerilla warfare.

Religion

Fey power and magic are an important part of Lillinosti culture, and the kingdom’s major settlements contain portals to the Feywild. However, citizens of Lillinosti do pay homage to the gods, particularly Basella and Fespaan.

Foreign Relations

As a member state of the Five Realms, Lillinosti is on good terms with Dremenot, Twillin, Kirinjo, and Khazdal.   Lillinosti desires coastal access to the Esper Sea, and is currently in a bidding war with various Esperian city-states to gain control.

Agriculture & Industry

The vast stretches of woodland and favorable climate make Lillinosti an ideal place for orchards and exotic beasts. However, the kingdom’s greatest export is silk, harvested from the webs of giant spiders in underground burrows.   The woodland orchards support acorns, apples, cherries, fiddleheads, grapes, mushrooms, oranges, peaches, pears, ramps, and wood sorrel.
