Most historians sight the controversial crowning of Emperor Mochtas, later titled, "The Tired" as the true beginning of the end for the Ackramorian Empire. As a result, he is often thought of as among the worst of the Emperors, public opinion has changed somewhat in recent years, many now view him as a competent Emperor blessed, or cursed, by Saint Kal, Patron of Tragic Heroes. This time period is the bloodiest in the empire's history, as a battle, which most historians agree could only have ever been won by Prime, God of Civilization made flesh again, for the unity of the empire raged across the known world.
