Hatred Strength Maraud

Divine Domains

War, Tempest   Woe to the mortal who crosses paths with one of Ulrok's Iconoclasts, for their rage can not be pacified.

Tenets of Faith

Hatred, Strength, Maraud   The tenets of Ulrok's faithful are some of the most divisive of all of the Ancient Gods, leading Iconoclasts to fight among themselves almost as often as others, and makes them highly unpredictable.

Holidays

Iconoclasts celebrate great victories and the annihilation of their enemies and possess no other inclination to revelry.   Ulrok is one of the few Gods who is represented as opposition during the celebrations of The Great Expulsion due to his failure to align with the Gods responsible for banishing Gaulgulis. Ulrok abhors the vast majority of the Gods with a particular hatred for Gaulgulis.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Ulrok's literal goals are murky to many, but his motivation is clear to all. Ulrok's original nature is lost to time, but he is now the clarified essence of violent hatred, thanks to the his defining moment during The Ascendant Wars. It was at this moment that the Gods battled for the future of Jeharr, and many were slain. It is said that in a moment during one of the clashes between the Non-interventionist Gods and the Divine Guides 100 Gods died in an instant, one among them being Ulrok, who was then believed to have been known by another name. In the moment of his destruction, Ulrok had some sort of revelation, the exact nature of which is debated by scholars across Jeharr. The result of this revelation however, was a rage of this dead God so tangible that it drew in the residual life force of the other 99 dead Gods and manifested itself in the form of Ulrok, Ancient God of Violence.   Ulrok seeks to destroy the things that brought about his ruin, although it is unclear whether this is a conscious desire or his rage has consumed his mind and is now without need of justification. The all but one of the Gods fought in the Ascendant Wars, and are a clear target of Ulrok's hatred, but Jeharr and the mortals that reside there were the prize that brought the Gods into conflict. The unpredictable nature of the Iconoclasts make them dangerous to even simply cross paths with, and are shunned in most modern societies, with a few notable exceptions, such as Stagcora. Iconoclasts bring violent destruction to mortals, Gods, and, if given the opportunity, even entire planes of existence, including Jeharr. A commonly accepted rationale for the direction of the God of Violence is that he seeks to end all conflict by exhausting it throughout existence.   Ulrok's blind rage knows no friends and he is believed to despise almost all of the Gods. Ulrok holds particular disdain for Gaulgulis, Rein, Axius, Prime, and Haatiles.
