The Elven City of Faldboroughe
The elven city of Faldboroughe is located in the temperate forest, where the vegetation is lush. Faldboroughe grew around a once great white ash tree. The people are sophisticated, and occupations include artisans, scholars and educators, and merchants traveling abroad. The region is rich with natural resources, and within the wood is an entrance to a great silver and mithral mine. A population of 10,950, the denizens live a modest existence. Faldboroughe is composed of elves, a majority of whom are high elves, with a slim minority of other races (gnomes, half elves, satyrs, Firbolg)
Government
Faldboroughe is the most powerful city in Scotwood. The people of Faldboroughe are governed by the royal family - the Suithusana line - and have been for two millennia.
The people of Faldboroughe own the lands they work on collectively, and together benefit from its prosperity. The Queen is technically the head of state, but affairs are handled by a parliamentary consisting of the powerful council.
There is a strong guard presence enacted by The Dagger of Faldboroughe, with citizens seeking to live in the city being forced to undergo periods of review. The Dagger of Faldboroughe are well armed, and brutality is not unheard of against outsiders. It has toned down in more recent days, due to an easing of tensions between its respective head of state and the Councilor of the Covenant of Leaves Law in Faldboroughe is reform-based, and those that breach the laws can expect incarceration, fines, asylums, or work-release programs to provide them with the chance to not become a recidivist. The death penalty is reserved only for traitors to the state. Magic is plentiful and used to improve the lives of elves specifically, with tangential benefits extended to visitors.

Industry & Trade
Trade is reasonable in Faldboroughe, and people live a modest existence because of it; some taxes are applied to certain goods and services that are rendered in the city, but the more creative entrepreneurs can find loopholes to make a better profit. Welfare is good. Citizens can expect death services, and other services such as healthcare and education, provided they are able to pay for it. Elves are generally always well to do and supported, but unwelcome visitors may find that the Dagger of Faldboroughe and the city’s occupants are not so ready to render aid.

The Dagger of Faldboroughe
Once a group of mercenaries, armed to the teeth with scimitars and shields, wearing light blue livery over their studded leather armor with an insignia of an arrow; they are The Dagger of Faldboroughe. The once wandering company has become organized and serves as the source of law and order in the city and surrounding areas now. While famous for their patriotism to kin and county, they occasionally show signs of their mercenary origin. They are friendly and loyal towards their commander. They specialise in skirmishes, and are notorious for their silent, loyal, and efficient nature.
Councilor: Cyrilic Lotheria (Battlemaster Fighter, Advisor to the throne and Arrelleon)
The Covenant of Leaves
Spies and operators spread throughout Scotwood, the Covenant of Leaves is the dagger in the night, the poison in the drink, the silent footsteps in the darkness. They have provided intelligence and research on threats to the area for a millennia, not the power behind the throne, but the whispers in its ear.
Councilor: Cobar Sorcena (Whispers Bard / Rogue, Advisor to Throne and Vadania)
House Majeur
The judiciary arm of the city of Faldboroughe. They are openly fair minded. In the past, they weigh on diplomatic matters and judgements, typically in favor of the elves, except in flagrant cases of wrong doing. Recently the Councilor, Loluria Phonia, has died, perishing by the action of a devil whom her ward, Jelenex Suithsana, orchestrated.
House Majuer, the judiciary, has no councilor currently, and one will need to be chosen in the future.
