Cid

Appearance:

A middle aged human, with curious eyes a healthy apatite and a wide smile. He wears a set of plate armor like his second skin and in his many pockets and holsters many magic items, potions and scrolls. Although he always carries a multitude of tools and materials as befitting an artificer, his favorite is his cooking kit, Cid likes inventing new dishes whenever he encounters exotic cooking materials. He proudly displays the symbol of Boldrei on his armband - goddess of peace and protector of communities. As a cleric of peace Cid has fought evil and lawlessness and has used his fists, voice, skills or his substantial finances when necessary. When not adventuring Cid spends time in his workshop brewing potions and crafting items for his fellow adventurers, when adventuring the airship "Mercy" his crew and an assortment of magical items are at his command.

Backstory:

Born on the mainland to a family blacksmiths, Cid grew up in a large loving family who could see his affinity for magic and supported his growth. As a teenager his parents sent him to apprentice under a wizard; Unfortunately, Cid struggled. Despite his efforts, his spellcasting ability was weak and after 2 years of diligent study and practice he barely graduated. when he returned home he picked up work as a crafter and while experimenting on using magic to improve his craft, he discovered that Imbuing magic into tools and objects could make up for his shortcomings. A few years later he gathered enough gold to payback his parents and he left to join the peacekeepers of Boldrei, He discovered in the three years how to enchant a suit of armor to be his weapon but he needed to learn how to wield it, As a cleric he was thought how to preserve the peace but also how to enforce it. When Pangea was discovered and the shipyards were teaming with adventurers, Cid was there.
