Hex Description

A crescent shaped country of deep forest nestled between mountains and coast. A number of cities dot the coastline, but the majority of the population live in villages hidden in the forests. There is only one pass through the mountains, which has been held by hostile forces for many years, causing the kingdom to become isolated. However, recently the king has reached out to Jaytown to build diplomatic ties.
On first contact, the Jaytowners stumbled into a political crisis, as the queen's evil sister, Therris, had stolen the Crown of Mahina, a powerful artifact. They retrieved the crown but, as a result, moved a brewing civil war closer to reality.
Since then, Jaytowners have visited Mahina many times, foiling plots, working on infrastructure projects, or just enjoying the recreation to be found in its cosmopolitan cities. However, the day of Therris' revenge draws nearer...

Story Hooks

• Therris: She is still out there wanting revenge

• The Shadow Spreads: A party of Jaytowners came to the aid of a village where the local wildlife had turned against the populace. They found and destroyed an obelisk being used to cause this violence.

• A Death Knight and his Queen: A death knight was defeated, the staff he was guarding for his queen destroyed. However the broken shell of its corpse was pulled through a Gate spell, a cruel and regal fey-like being on the other side.

• Jaytowners Find A Way: Not all of Therris' lieutenants employ subtle schemes. Varsis the Beastmaster has unleashed 6 titanic dinosaurs to destroy Mahina's military and infrastructure. King Stefan calls to his steadfast ally King Jay for aid in this perilous hour.
