{5,8} Backdoor Mountains DM

Description:

Mountain range of said to house 4 ancient gods and a back door to hell.

Quests:

• The 9th Gate: Toxiod interests in hell have led him to gather a party that can aid him in the investigation of a backdoor to hell; he feels driven to meet Levistus. The Party has discovered an author's journal describing a location to the east of Mt Nyme in the Backdoor Mountains that has piqued their curiosity.

• Path into the Back Door: Toxiod and the party make their way into the northern mountains meeting; an albino dwarf dreaming of access to a cave filled with a mysterious toxic fume. After several days of searching the mountain range to no avail, the party returns to the albino Dwarf seeking guidance for a path to mount Nyme.

• Favor for a Favor: Toxiod and the party search a cavern with toxic fumes & find a small party of Drow & an Elder Brain. The creatures seemed to be conducting some sort of experiments in the old cavern; what is unclear, but it was cleansed & the creatures eliminated. The dwarf has described a waterfall that marks the Mt that they are searching for, Mt. Nyme is to the NW.

• Dangerous Calculation: Jim Danger is predicting some sort of astronomical event in a Western Mountain were the sun never seems to rise, it seems to be linked with the blooming of an unusual plant.

• Dangerous Calculation 2:Jim Danger believes he has discovered a unique blooming patter to a very rare flower. He has come across some lore that in the mountains to the North West lived 2.... 3.... sisters (notes are unclear legend says these sisters protected this long forgotten mistletoe bloom.

• Dangerous Calculation 3: Jim Danger has sent a party ahead to meet the sisters and retrieve the rare herbs they protect. Beware, of the creatures that are drawn by falling stars...
