Description:

The fractured island is an archipelago composed of the remains of a nation that worshipped a being from beyond the RIFT, an immense portal allowing free passage between the realms and planes.
The inhabitants gained more and more resources from the travelers, the nation grew bigger, and greedier. Forgetting about their offerings to their deity, forcing the RIFT to stay open longer and longer, until they never closed it back. But the Rift could not support such a toll and began failing. It stopped for weeks and could only function for a day. Until the day they tried fixing the Rift. And the Fracture took place.
Splitting the sea and land alike, this fissure of space itself extends through the 3 main islands and a multitude of smaller islands, precipitating ships and creatures alike into the abyss.

Lore Summary:

The lost remnants of the civilisations stuck on this side of the Rift can now be found scattered over the many islands of the fracture.
The first main Island, populated by the ever festive people of Cheshire and it's countless festivals, reveals lush forests and plains for all to enjoy. It is overseen by it's Mayor, Chester , and a former adventurer of Jaytown, surnamed Cheshire's Cat. Organizing music festivals, vocal jousts for bards and entertainers alike, welcoming any and all that partake in partying and playing.
The island composed of wasteland and canyons, where the people of Theros brought dangerous and tasty creatures is the home of Gardan the legendary chef, and the Canyon Fighting Club , always competing to slay the most impressive of game.
The Miu Shroom Island, home to a species of sentient mushrooms has granted it's saviors from the parasitic fungi with safe passage for Jaytowners and esoteric adventures.
The countless small islands along the Fracture see the constant fighting between the Triton Pirates of Blue-Beard and the Brave Pirates for the ancient items and creatures populating this region of the Ocean, as the dangers of the deep float ever so closely.
