Post-Battle Traumatization is a proposed psychological disorder defined as an unresponsive state after experiencing or witnessing a life-threatening event, like combat, a natural disaster, or Colossi encounter. The sufferers of this illness are usually unresponsive and mumble to themselves, supposedly still lost in the event that triggered the illness. Sometimes the severity goes away over time, leaving the person merely jumpy and prone to day terrors or night mares, as well as a bit of relapse occasionally.
In recent years the episodes have been referred to as 'bugging out', for its prevalence in bugwar survivors.

Treatment

There is no official treatment for this, though many try alternative treatments, such as mind effecting illicit drugs. There are rumors that the Vondren Military has experimented with re-purposing the Mindbreaker system as treatment, though this has not been confirmed, and the results of such a thing are unknown.
