Ciarn Tech Consortium

Outlawed within Ciarn city limits, but acceptable along the border to protect against colossi.
Crossing into the city proper is often rife with weapons checks. Sometimes the weapons are held until you leave, and sometimes they are kept indefinitely. It depends on your record, species, where you were born, where you live, and where you enter from.

With how closely people are packed in Ciarn, shooting off a projectile weapon is bound to cause some collateral damage. Even the consortium security forces don't use them within city limits, and stick to stun rods and swords.
The southern border though is another story, due to the constant threat of colossi. First it was just a border wall guard weapon, but as the 'district' grew, so did the amount of weaponry.

Border Cartel

The legality or ease of obtaining distance weapons along the border varies from territory to territory.

Many cartel bosses will limit them to their personal forces, for their own safety and continued dominance.

Kingdom of Ncia

Outlawed

As they might effect the ice in the warm season and cause avalanches

Coldol Empire

While firearms are seen as taboo, they are not outlawed. And things like bows are welcome and allowed.

Veracity

Although considered a pirate town, the fireing of ranged weapons is outlawed, though simply owning them isn't policed

they could damage the ruins, and the ruins are to be protected

Zavida

No firearms or projectiles of any sort on the space stations.

culturally this is partly because there are no colossi or wild animals to defend against, and partly becasue projectiles in a space station is a very bad idea

Vondren

Vondren Military

All ranged weapons are completely outlawed to anyone not in the fighting branch of the military, and even then only assessable when on duty hunting pirates.
The military only uses cryopowered laser weaponry

this came about due to the Vondren military's history as being formed to protect people from pirates.

Domination

Anything goes really.

Physical projectile weapons are popular for dueling and games of chance and are typically easier to get ahold of or make yourself, so they're about as popular as swords and often used together.
