The Spelljammer
The myth and the legend of the Spelljammer itself. A city sized ship flying around the crystal spheres looking for lore and legends of the spheres.
The Captain and his Officers
Between a person picking up an Ultimate Helm, and making his way unto The Spelljammer. The transition between captains or lack of captain, the ship will go into period where the gardens will be closed and there will be no further food production during this transition. As the captain comes out of the garden after launching the Smalljammers and the Ultimate Helms for the next captain.
After the new captain assumes office his closest friends will be taking the position of the officers of the ship. The ship no longer responds as the Smalljammer did if they came in that way. The captain and his appointed officers will be able to command the Shivaks.
The support crew and construct
Roaming throughout the ship, you'll find an almost unlimited amount of Shivaks. Shivaks are made of the same leathery material of the ship. They are meant to roam around and repair and perform maintenance of the ship in general. The shivaks can be of any size, shape and functionality appropriate to the specific job they are supposed to solve.
The city and the inhabitants
On the back of the ship sits a sizable city, housing a number of 1000s inhabitants. The ship is a maze of physical / prime material plane structures intersected by a number of interdimensional pockets. As the ship is inside a crystal sphere they all have access to food and the other spaces. When the ship is in the Flow (Phlogiston), none of the interdimensional pockets do not have access to the Gardens and the food.
There exists a number of factions throughout the ship that will help others of the same faction. When the gardens close down, each faction will fight the other factions over food and location will cost a number of people their lifes.
The Gardens
The Gardens is a massively large space that produces all the food and air for the entire ship. That means the ship essentially have an unlimited supply of food and air. The garden is tendered by a tribe of lizardfolk, and in support of them other races born of the natures, including Firbolg, Wood Elf, and similar intelligent creatures.
The Library
The library is a grand collection of the all the knowledge and lore of the captains and the lore and legends they uncovered in their time. The captain has access to space of the Library.
The Armory
The armory is a place where all the weapons are kept and new weapons are being crafted. When the ship are being threatened by whoever massive force, the doors will open and allow the inhabitants to go and grab a weapon for defence of the ship in general. The captain can order construction of whatever he wants to have, be that either for himself or for his officers.
The Towers and their siege engines and crew
Stretching out on both of the wings of the ship are to lines of walls and a number of towers. When the enemy ships crosses over a line of fire of a siege engine, the individuals crews will fire of their respective weapons. The towers also contains a number of interdimensional pockets, housing the inhabitants of the towers.
