Decharrod
The Decharrod is the Catfolk religion that worships the pantheon of the same name. All of the gods in the pantheon are benevolent and kind. However, in the early years of tabaxi society, the god Litel was prominent - lord of the Great Flame, king of the Decharrod and the evil, oppressive god that gained worshippers through fear.
Gods
The pantheon is comprised of seven gods. The first is Quiauhnen, god of Rochull's Sun and new king of the pantheon. The second, Itotia, goddess of the moon and wife of Quiauhnen. There is also Xicohtonal, goddess of the sea, Yoliyamaniton, god of agriculture and the earth, Tlalxoch, god of storms and winds, Nahuatl, goddess of life, and Teixochitl, god of battle. They are represtented by a leopard, ocelot, dolphin, python, eagle, panther, and tiger respectively, and take these forms when they aren't in tabaxi form. The gods are notorious for interacting regularly with the people of Rochull, unlike most other gods.Mythology & Lore
Legends tell that the Gods were a band of great heroes at the dawn of Rochull. They were adored by the Elder Gods, and so when they fell in battle against a huge onslaught of Gy'an, the Elder Gods took pity on them, raising them from the dead as not mortals, but the gods of the Rochull world, and were destined to overthrow Litel. Since then they have been fiercely protective of their homeland and made sure that their people were safe and prospering.
Granted Divine Powers
The gods typically grant magic to their most devout followers, usually basic cantrips that help with daily life, but sometimes advanced magics, and of course, the honour of participating in the Eternal Song.
