Witch Princess Ferelith Castelle
A young witch born to Æðelric and Leola Ravenel, brother to Pæga Ravenel and cousin to Karen Huntington. Ferelith grew up in a small village within Rionne-occupied Lyria. Despite being in the countryside, the village is rife with fear and suspicion of witches. Witch Hunts are commonplace, and for witches like Ferelith and her family, it's best to keep their heads down and give up on all teachings and what it means to be a witch to the point that Ferelith doesn't even realize she is a witch. Her parents make up just enough money to send her to school to grant a basic education. She's on her way to trading her freedom and individuality with an educated status, training for a nunnery who will preach to women and spread further into Lyria.
Despite the hysteria and her ignorance to her heritage, there is a lot of stories about witches that circulate the continent. Ferelith loves to read, and especially, Ferelith loves to read these stories about witches. It is a dream she's had for years to learn the craft and become a Fairy Witch. But it's impossible after all, as she's not a witch.
Whispers on the wind catch her ears, pleading for help. A thick tome is discovered in a hidden part of the house. A book about spells and how magic works.
