Vedena

Vedena is the goddess of the shadows and undeath, as well as the most hated God in the heavens. Long ago she was in love with another god, Asmodeus. When the Alliance forced him back to the lower planes, she was separated from her beloved and lashed out in a deadly counterattack. She struck the red stream, corrupting true magic with her dark power until it became known simply as dark magic. Her magic seeped into the shadowfell, corrupting the entire plane to her dark power. She is deceptive, cruel and longs to break free of the divine barrier and be reunited with her beloved. Her followers give in to the call of dark magic and try to assist her goal of shattering the divine barrier. She is exceptionally powerful because she draws power from the things she has tainted, being dark magic and shadowfell. Her true form is that of a large black skinned humanoid with flowing silver hair and wreathed in an ever shifting cloak of shadows. Suggested domains: blood, arcana, death, shadows
