The Temple of Duality

The temple of duality is one of three sacred temples founded by Dacona, the speaker of the lands. It is located in the foothills of the clouded spine, some 200 miles northwest of Alamund and on the outskirts of the Cerathi Swamp. It was founded at an intersection of arcane leylines, with three coming inbound from the northern and southern edges of Jezat as well as the Cerathi peninsula. it is sorrounded by a valley of sorts, hidden within the clouded spine. This is known as the Arcanist's Cove, for it was once a home to a powerful wizard before he was driven off by Dacona. The temple serves as an intersection between the magic of the land and the magic of the arcane. It allowed arcane magic to be dispersed out of leylines and be infused into the earth in order to work powerful druidic magic.
It was the home of some 20 initiates, all some form of druids that had been trained by Dacona to work the magic of the lands. When she worked the runes of isolation, the temple of duality was that which oversaw the fusion between arcane and dark magic in order to write the runes. During that ritual, her initiates worked tirelessly to ensure that the transfer of magic happened seamlessly. but when the leylines were turned against Dacona, they were turned against the initates as well. Rampant arcane magic surged through the temple, killing every living thing within. The innate magic of the leylines then infused the trees into which the temple was built, drawing an ire wrought from the sheer rage of Kerosh.
In addition to being a center of druidic magic, it was also a center of worship. There is a shrine to Oberon in the temple, as he was the being to which Dacona looked up the most. As this temple was the first one that Dacona built, it also contains some of her early notes.
