Anaphiel

Anaphiel is an archangel who forsook the divine hosts of the alliance following the sundering of the world. He had never been truly aligned, but he fought alongside them for that is what he thought father Mualdir would wish him to do. He manifested in a simple form, with black hair and fair skin and a physique that did not suggest the divine power he wielded. His wings were a graying white, having started to sour after the horrors he saw during the sundering. He is a kind soul, who does not wish involvement in conflict any more. This changed when Antoine began his murderous rampages. Seeking to stop the dark mage, Anaphiel intervened and challenged Antoine within the walls of the shadowkeep. But he underestimated the power of the dark mage and overestimated his own, aided by his fortress, Antoine was able to overpower Anaphiel and force him, chained, into another pocket dimension. Since then, Anaphiel has been helpless to the whims of Antoine, as the dark mage sought to tear him apart and consume his body as raw power. But the body of an archangel does not easily yield, and Antoine was locked away soon after he captured Anaphiel. Since then, the archangel has wasted away in solitude, waiting for a salvation he does not even dare to hope for.
