Taudarin
Lush green fields, rolling hills, and woodlands. All these bring to mind the lands of the rural Kingdom of Taudarin. Sandwiched between the wild icy lands of Holm to the north, and the warmer Sešiniá to the south, Taudarin enjoys a temperate climate.
The land is so productive to farm that the people have had no need to advance their farming, and rarely travel. As a result, the lands have only slowly changed over the hundreds of years of the Kingdom. Indeed, much of the land yet remains undisturbed and relatively sparsely populated.
It would not be fair to call the people lazy or resistant to change, but outsiders might frequently talk down when referring to the people of Taudarin, calling them "backwards", "country bumpkins", "simple folk with not a head for business amongst them". It would be more accurate to say that there has been little to no driving force to push change, and the people live by practical and proven means. Occasionally improvements are adopted and gradually make their way across the lands through traders and town criers.
Geography
Much of this region of Unai is covered by gently rolling hills, plains, farmland, and extensive woodland that has barely been exploited.
There are hills and some minor mountains, but as yet these have proven to be a poor source of valuable minerals.
Fauna & Flora
Domesticated beasts such as cows and sheep are frequently seen being farmed. Wolf packs will sometimes venture from the northlands during the winters, harrying the cattle.
Much of the woodland is ancient, having remained largely undisturbed for hundreds or maybe even thousands of years.
