Whitevale

Whitevale is a primarily Hill Dwarf settlement on the southern coast of the Isle of Melas. The edges of the Riikbar Mountains are to the north and to the east, with numerous large ridges and outcroppings dotting the landscape. The The Misty Marsh isolates the village from the near north, and the Great Southern Sea dominates the south.

The village is primarily supported by various mining interests in the foothills and ridges, as well as specialized crafting, manufacturing and an abundance of game.

The Western Leg of the Great East-West Highway trade thoroughfare passes about 1/2-mile north of the northern gates of the village, leading toward Coldwind Bay in the west and off into the Riikbar Mountains to the east.

  • There is a Town Cemetery behind the Temple that is still used today by the village's inhabitants. There are a handful of below-ground graves and other burial areas for non-dwarven inhabitants.
