Gulf of Layna

The Gulf of Layna is a large body of water in the eastern part of Melas separating the northeast Laynan Peninsula from the Wildlands to the south. It is the only way to travel from one area of Melas to the other without crossing the Kale Mountains.
For centuries, travel between the two regions was relatively straightforward, but a kind of otherworldly perpetual storm effectively prevents all water craft from traversing or entering the Gulf.
