Baron Galandros Jorten is a 7th Level Sorcerer who lives in (and secretly rules) the wealthy resort city of Kovsholm in the Riikber Mtns. He used his magical abilities, his wealth and his societal position to create a series of magical items that can trap souls, and control the bodies of those souls trapped within. He seeks to extend his power and influence far beyond the Southern coast of Melas.

Galandros was once an acolyte of Mantidae, and a personal friend of Jos van Aalten. During the Elemental Sundering, he was lured by the promise of power to betray his brethren. He took up his true calling as a Sorcerer and helped cause the ruin of Mantidism and the downfall of the The Triad Pantheon.

• Was sent by wealthy parents from Kovsholm west to Aerost to join as a disciple of Mantidae.
• Always had a secret ambition for power and knowledge that being an acolyte could not give him.
• Betrayed his brethren in Mantidism and returned to Kovsholm.
• Upon return, as he was born into power and society, inherited estate from late father (mining magnate).
• Spent years training to become Sorcerer, using his clerical background in harnessing power of the natural world.
• Used research and influence to collect and create magical mirrors to trap and control souls
• Controls minds of city leadership, effectively rules Kovsholm and enslaves most of the town.
