Aril Le Tharda

Aril Le Tarda is a city for survivors it has stood against countless armies all of them turned away from its gates. This city is one of the greatest in all of Isildur, never conquered, never fallen and the last remains of an ancient empire that fell long ago.   Aril Le Tharda has four districts those are the elven districts the common district and the outer district and the crater.   Elven District This is the inner part of the city here the buildings of the elves reside including the palace of Alwin Steelgazer. Here the nobles houses of Aril Le Tharda reside along with the council of the Frostwalker clan. This district houses the library, university, the palace and other grand buildings.   Common District  Even though Aril Le Tharda claims that no one has ever conquered it and that is true but one time an army got through. By using subterfuge and being invited in they stormed the city burning the largest part of the city, they were eventually driven out but what they had done could never be undone. This is the common district and the largest district in Aril Le Tharda for here most folks reside (This area is still under the protection of the enchantment laid upon the city).    Outer District In recent years a newer city has been created outside of the walls of Aril Le Tharda to house the refugees that come from outside of the Frostwalker territory, many are directed to other clans in the Frostwalker territory which has caused some uproar but caused many clans to expand rapidly and a reason to expand Aril Le Tharda borders (these areas are not in the protection of the enchantment).    The Crater This was once a part of the Common District but when a few years back a meteor conjured by magic some believe crashed into the city and destroyed a small portion of the city killing a few this District was created. But when the meteor crashed it turned the area poisonous and no one has been able to enter it for years. Not only that many have seen monsters inside the ruins and unexplained disappearances often happen near the crater. It is the only place where people carry weapons.

While the Frostwalker is the main military force of Aril Le Tharda they also are in control of its main export monster parts and treasure but cannot do anything without the approval of the council and Alwin Steelgazer. The two factions are finely balanced and one push could make the city erupt in a civil war.

The history of Aril Le Tharda is a long one. The only thing know about the early history of this city is that the elves of old built it and that it was the only city to survive the cataclysmic event that caused their destruction. Centuries later Aril Le Tharda was instrumental in both the fall of the Elder Evils and the fall of Odera. In recent history such as the demon invasion, Aril Le Tharda was the only city not to fall and it was a useful landing ground for the armies of Isildur.
