History

There is no species in Isera as industrious as the Human. Humans haven't been in the forefront of history for very long, being a mostly servile race during the age of Dwarven supremacy, humanity has risen and increased dramatically in numbers since the fall of magic. They have built cities far beyond dwarven protection, and have settled in almost every corner of the world. Although humans have been around for much longer, human history only goes back about 1600 years, with most of earlier human history being lost in the first Giant wars. A series of wars that humanity decidedly lost. Some say that human historians deliberately destroyed much of the history to obscure the depth of human failure that led to the events, but this is not a popular view among scholars. Humanity has made great strides since then, building great cities, and allying with many other races to the point that human cities are rarely more than 60% human. The largest human societies in Isera are those of Faris  and Rydia 
Despite their shortcomings, humans have been more accepting of other races often ostracized especially from dwarven societies, and this has greatly benefited them.  Human cities tend to be more diverse in species than any other, and this has resulted in humanity absorbing the best qualities of many different cultures, aiding their quick rise to power.

A typical human can live around 80 years.
