Undead
Undead are once-living creatures brought to a horrifying state of undeath through the practice of necromantic magic or some unholy curse. Undead include walking corpses, such as vampires and zombies, as well as bodiless spirits, such as ghosts and specters.

Anatomy
Anything can become undead.
Genetics and Reproduction
Undead are created by weaving dark magic into the bodies of the deceased. But it is also like a disease, it spreads like wildfire leaving dead trees, wide swaths of grass less plains, undead animals and humanoids, it takes many years for such corruption to be stopped and its effects reversed.
Growth Rate & Stages
Undead do not grow.
Ecology and Habitats
Undead go where they are told to go, or if left to their own device, anywhere they see something moving and making noise. Some haunt specific people, or protect certain locations.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Undead do not eat anything.
Biological Cycle
As time goes on some undead rot, until they are just skeletons, which continue to walk. Undead live until the magic holding them is banished or wears off.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Undead use the five senses. Rarely do they have magical senses, besides the magic revitalizing them.
