Druids are particularly gifted shamans, attuned to the flow of energy in the land and the whispers of its spirits. A druid may offer reverence or appeasement to the gods of Iroa, but rarely worship them. Instead, their devotion is centered on the world itself, or just as commonly, the spirits of their ancestors.
Errata
TCoE lists the following changes to Druids.
Additional Druid Spells are allowed. Note that you do not automatically know these; they are simply added to the Druid spell list.
Wild Companion is given to any druid circle that does not center on wild shape into a creature or "super mode" as its core focus. For example, it is allowed to Circle of Wildfire, which doesn't focus on wild shape, but not to Circle of the Moon or Circle of Spores, which do.
Cantrip Versatility is just expanded retraining, so it is allowed and you have it.
Druid Changes
The Circle of the Land druid subclass from the PHB is deleted and folded into the base Druid as a core part of the class. This results in the following changes to the druid.
Primal Link
At 3rd level, choose a terrain type from the Circle of the Land list: arctic, coast, desert, forest, grassland, mountain, swamp, or underworld ("Underdark"). This is your favored terrain. You gain advantage on skill checks related to your favored terrain, such as a Nature check to identify plants and animals, an Athletics check to navigate natural obstacles, and so forth. This also affects features like Geomancy, below. You retain the benefits of your Primal Link only while your spellcasting focus is in some way connected to that terrain, such as for example an orb filled with swamp water or a staff made from coral.
You also learn a bonus cantrip from any class, as long as you can thematically link it to your favored terrain in some way. For example, Chill Touch or Ray of Frost link rather obviously to Arctic, whereas Sword Burst could be flavored as a stalagmite burst for Underworld.
Geomancy
Also at 3rd level, you gain access to circle spells as per the Circle of the Land druid. The spells from your favored terrain are added to your spell list and are prepared for free, not counting against the total number of spells you can have prepared.
Additionally, regardless of your permanent favored terrain, you can cast a circle spell for the terrain you are currently in even if you don't have it prepared and it's not on your class list. To do this, spend one hit die in addition to a spell slot of the appropriate level.
Land's Stride
At 5th level, moving through natural difficult terrain costs you no extra movement. You also have advantage on saving throws against plants or natural terrain that have been magically created or manipulated to impede movement, such as via an entangle spell. If the plants or terrain are associated with your Favored Terrain, you also ignore any damage from thorns, sharp stones, or the like.
Nature's Sanctuary
When you reach 9th level, creatures of the natural world sense your connection to nature and become hesitant to attack you. When a beast or plant creature attacks you, that creature must make a Wisdom saving throw against your druid spell save DC. The save has disadvantage if the creature is native to your Favored Terrain. On a failed save, the creature must choose a different target, or the attack automatically misses. On a successful save by 5 or more, the creature is immune to this effect for 24 hours.
The creature is aware of this effect before it makes its attack against you. This effect is suspended if you or your allies take hostile action against the creature or its family other than in self defense.
Nature's Ward
When you reach 13th level, you can't be charmed or frightened by elementals or fey, and you are immune to poison and disease. You are also immune to all natural (non-manipulated) hazards of your favored terrain, and gain advantage on saving throws against manipulated hazards.
Subclasses
All subclasses from the PHB, XGtE, and TCoE are allowed, except the Circle of the Land as noted previously.
The Circle of Sacrifice is also added as a subclass you can choose.
