Rasconza

Rasconza is the white-haired fox owned by Marquis Vali Agnisson, the senior representative of the nobility in the ongoing reconstruction project in Rethis. He is Vali's constant companion, and very affectionate; Vali is always happy to introduce Rasconza to anyone, and a number of people tolerate Vali's presence purely because Rasconza is sure to be there with him.

Physical Description

Body Features

Rasconza is a white haired fox from the far north, and is very cute. His long white fur makes features that might look lean and hungry instead look very cute and fluffy, and has a long, fluffy tail. In his natural snowy habitat, only the tiny black button of a nose and the outline of his peircing eyes would be visible, but in the temperate climate of the Iron Hills, his snow white fur is brilliantly distinctive.

Personal history

Rasconza was captured as a baby by explorers far to the north east of Kinilan, and was picked up by a number of traders before eventually being bought by Marquis Vali Agnisson, a Kinilani noble working with the Abizin Loyalists. They have been constant companions for years now, and while Vali is not above using Rasconza to help improve people's opinions of him, he genuinely loves Rasconza and is very protective of him.

Savvies & Ineptitudes

Rasconza is a very smart, well trained fox, though Vali is very careful to pass off many of these behaviours as just being playful and inquisitive. When meeting someone new, he often runs up and rubs against their boots, and will climb up into their arms at the slightest provocation. He is capable of doing a wide variety of tricks like rolling over, fetching thrown objects, shaking a paw, and will happily do so in exchange for a steady supply of treats...unless he's not hungry, in which case he tends to stare up at the person as if asking "what, you're the one who threw it, you go pick it up."
One trick Vali taught Rasconza that most people don't know about is pickpocketing - he is very agile and can squirm into most pockets or bags, and while the person carrying them will almost certainly notice, they tend to interpret it as the cute fox being cute and snuggly. Vali will give instructions on what to look for in the langugae of foxes, which he can speak through a magical ring that allows him to communicate with animals. This generally sounds like playful yipping, just a pet owner playing around with his pet. If Rasconza is caught with the object still in his mouth, Vali will publicly scold him for taking the item, and make a point of apologizing for his pet's misbehaviour.
