Temple of Ivory Rose

The monestary where monks of the Ivory Rose train to perfect the union of mind, body, and spirt.

Purpose / Function

The Ivory Rose Monestary is where martial artists, monks, scholors, and clerics train to perfect themselves outside the circle of traditional training. These men and women accept the existence of gods, as any sane person would, but refute that they are all powerful. they argue that Gods are in fact extremely powerful mortals who've ascended their mortal forms, and that with enough training, purpose, and willpower one can acomplish the same.

Architecture

The monestary is built within the Empty Peaks from hewn stone and oakwood from the nearby forests. the monestary shares a design resembling elven architecture though its design required the use of raw materials harvested. long arching and towering angels that reach to the sky, the monestary appears very close to a semi-natural addition to the mountain range.

History

The monestary was constructed to be a safe haven from the troubles of the world, and to perfect the studies of those who came to this sanctuary. Jei and a group of dwarven exiles constructed the temple with the aid of Elven reffugees to meld together a number of different traditions and cultural ideals into the very foundation of the structure. as war, strife and greed struck the land of Krogar more and more sought out the sanctuary of the monestary to find a peaceful and simple life of study, meditation, or training.
