Dwarven Exile
A process which a traitor, coward, or heretic are cast out from Dwarven society as clanless exiles.
History
From time to time Dwarven men and women would fly in the face of their peoples holy laws and traditions in such a way where forgiveness would not be granted. in these moments, the Dwarf-father Meldrus decreed these rebels to be outcasts. their beards and hair would be shaved and the area burned or scarred to prevent the hair from growing back, as a Dwarves hair was often a symbol of status or pride and exiles were allowed neither of these. they were then stricken from the annals of their clans history and cast out of the city to fend for themselves.
Execution
If a Dwarf were to be exiled, they do so in secret as those Dwarves actions not only shamed themselves, but their family clan and empire as well. these Dwarves were taken to solitary chambers where they were stripped bare and nearly scalped in some cases to prevent their facial hair and the hair upon their head from growing back, then cast out far from the kingdom where none would stumble upon the clan or families great shame.
Components and tools
Specially designed razors, or common shears and razors and a hot branding iron.
Participants
Each clan has a specially designated Executioner who's role it is to also mutilate and outcast Dwarven heretics.
Observance
The Clan historian observes the ritual, and then promptly removes any reference from their records of that Dwarves existence, claiming that the Dwarf died during childbirth rather than stain the honor of their clan.
