Personal history

Most of the information surrounding Argan Thronemaker is steeped in Dwarven mythology, as he has direct dealings with the Dwarven Gods. From the stories, Argan is supposedly the first Mortal Dwarf forged by Meldrus and the other Gods who then instructed him to create the rest of Dwarfkind. Many times Argan would return to the celestial mountain where he alone would converse with his father Meldrus and the other Dwarven Gods. through this, Argan molded the first Dwarven Kingdom to safeguard the mountains and combat the Dragon threat as well as keep watchful eyes on the Giants whom Meldrus did not trust. The first Dwarves were ageless, and so Argan ruled his people for centuries until they finally brought the Draconic empire low only to be betrayed by the Giants. Argan's son Dworulim was captured during the initial betrayal as well as many other of Argan's closest friends who would live as slaves for many years. During Argan's retreat from the first battle with the Giants his legendary axe Stormwarden was lost, to be claimed by the Giant King. from one war to the next, Argan and his rule were steeped in the blood of Dragons and Giants. the Clan of Brightforge crafted a new weapon for Argan named Warsong that would sing the song of betrayal and vengeance the Dwarves would inflict upon the Giants. Argan and the Dwarves struggled to combat the Giants, who knew their strategies well during the Dragon Wars. Forced to dig deeper into the mountains to survive the Giant forces each battle against the Giantkin was costly even in victory. Argan used his Gnome Wizards and their understanding of Draconian magics to teleport strike forces behind Giantkin lines and create instantations flanking and ambush positions. this new strategy worked for a time, until the Giant's laid a trap of their own within the city of Jotar'lai. here the city was destroyed by unleashing several powerful Elementals trapped by the Giants, slaying Argan and leaving his Daughter Kabrinelyn in command of the Empire. Argan's death shook the Empire and led many to believe they could not win without the Son of Meldrus himself. Kabrinelyn was convinced by one of her advisors, who was later to be revealed as the Nameless Black Dragon, to sacrifice their Agelessness to curse the Giants. while reluctant at first, Kabrinelyn was swayed when the Nameless Black told her the Giant's would be decimated but the slaves and stolen treasures of her people would be unharmed. After the Ritual, Kabrinelyn led her forces through the abandonded cities of the Giant's reclaiming stolen treasures and freeing the slaves captured including her brother Dworulim. Dworulim returned to the Empire only for a short time, before leading many Dwarves on a crusade to hunt the surviving giants to reclaim Stormwarden and reclaim his lost honor.
