Pilgrims from the Sun
Those who pay homage to the Sun Lord say they are cut from the same stock, on a pilgramage to help, protect, and nuture those who can not do for themselves. The Pilgrims have stood between lords, monsters, and even the emporor and those that would be wronged. The Pilgrims have even help those looked upon as monsterous to integrate them into a positive relationship with the neighboring population.

The Pilgrims of the Sun exist to help all creatures who can not stand for themselves.
Tenets of Faith
The Sun Lord demands strength of his followers. Without the sun the entierety of life would die. The Sun Lord requires protection for the weak. The sun gives life to plants and animals. The Sun Lord asks for growth of self in those that would worship them. The sun gives warmth to all. The Sun Lord needs their followers to shelter those unable to help themselves from the storms that Winter would have crushed. The sun feeds the planet. The Sun Lord would have their soldiers feed the hungry and helpless.
Worship
Prayer happens twice daily, sunrise and sunset. Soldiersand the more devout, include a prayer when the sun is at its zenith. The prayer is given in a kneeling positio, usually involves a prayer rug, folded for the knees and always in the direction of the sun. Prayers consist of short declarations of one's duties for the Sun lord that day.
Political Influence & Intrigue
The Pilgrims of the Sun pollute polititics they infiltrate with truth and openness, destroying the well established lying, caljoling, and harassment usually associated withing governing or courtly orginizations.
Sects
Several sects exist whose duties differ on what they watch over. Minders of Mortals, Woodlands Witnesses, and Shepards of the Strange take on specific duties throuout the lands, all cooperating to unite the living under the Sun Lord.
