The Empire of Jarkara is a sprawling empire conquered almost 500 years ago, well after the demihumans retreated. Emperor Jarkar I took advantage of the aftermath of the retreat and the state left the human civilization. Emperor Jarkar I sent his army north to secure neighboring city states and recruiting to add to his army. after the north, Emperor Jarkar I moved on to conquer the west and began expansion south.

The silver jarkar is the mainstay coin of The Empire and are stamped with Emperor Jarkar's face. The jarkar is used everywhere in the empire, and is the only constantly minted coin across the lands.

Each city in The Empire specializes in something and trade caravans are always moving from city to city.

Rarely trading officially with outsiders, there is little The Empire needs to import. Those that do need things from outside either make the trip themselves or hire someone to aquire the goods, whether by claiming it for themselves or trading with those living outside The Empire.

Education

Most of the people in The Empire are taught to read by the church, even far flung farmers are taught to read the words of their gods by traveling preachers.

Infrastructure

The best thing Emperor Jarkar did to unite The Empire was to build a large web of roads connecting all major cities, towns and even smaller villages.
