Victor von Augen, known as Shockwave, is a renowned scientist from Handrar and the former leader of the Dark Harbingers. Widely regarded as the most brilliant mind on Araska, his genius lies in merging magic and science to push the boundaries of what is possible, often with malevolent intent. Unlike many of his peers, Victor follows only one master: logic. Petty emotions, power struggles, or personal insults mean nothing to him, as he evaluates every decision based on pure rationality. His cold, calculated nature makes him a formidable figure, driven only by what he deems logical in pursuit of his goals.

History

Victor von Augen, the enigmatic elven scientist nicknamed Shockwave, is a figure whose age remains a mystery due to his elven heritage, with some speculating that he has walked the world of Iquria for centuries. In the year 2200, he founded the Dark Harbingers, a secretive and dangerous organization dedicated to advancing his unique blend of science and magic for malevolent purposes. Under his leadership, the Dark Harbingers grew in power and influence, becoming a significant threat to Araska's stability.

One of Victor's most infamous achievements was the creation of the Warforged—sentient constructs built for war. By blending arcane power with mechanical ingenuity, he brought to life an entire race of living constructs, capable of thought and combat. His work didn’t stop there; he went on to design numerous other constructs, each more formidable and dangerous than the last, all in service to his vision of a world where logic and order reigned supreme, as he saw fit.

Victor's reign of terror came to an end when the Protectors of Araska, a heroic group dedicated to defending Araska, finally managed to defeat him. After a fierce battle, Victor was imprisoned in the Citadel, a high-security prison built to contain the most dangerous threats to the world. Though he remains incarcerated, his creations—especially the Warforged—continue to play a significant role in the ongoing history of Iquria, a testament to his genius and the chilling legacy he left behind.
