The Keepers

Overview

Founded many years ago by Admiral Jorah Havenvigor of The Fan'dori Navy, The Keepers were established as a specialized branch of the navy to protect the coast from pirates. Over the years, they successfully fulfilled this mission. However, with dwindling financial support, the Quier decided to disband the organization. Despite losing royal funding, The Keepers remained active, driven by veterans who, though no longer part of the navy, were determined to continue safeguarding the North.

After the devastating Siege of Fan'dori, which nearly obliterated the Fan'dori Navy, many of the surviving naval forces felt neglected by the newly formed The Northern Council. Consequently, a significant number chose to join The Keepers. Today, they serve as an unofficial coast guard, vigilantly patrolling the waters of the Northern Peninsula and defending it against threats. Their enduring commitment ensures the safety and security of the region's shores, embodying a legacy of steadfast protection.
