Overview
A moon elf like no other, Oscurity holds early memories steeped in tales of Luna, the Goddess of Darkness. These stories were shared around campfires in her home on the Everfree Mountains. Bright and joyful recollections spanned her life from 843 to 4605.Amidst the War of Darkness, Oscurity sought to learn fortune telling from the great Conoscenza. For he had sadly not had much luck with his present pupils as they often met unfortunate ends in their pursuit of knowledge. Despite this she thrived and she grew particularly close to her mentor. For over 798 years, she absorbed his teachings and mastered the arts of an Astrologian, drawing power from the stars and within for her destiny.
Tragically, Oscurity's world shattered in 5403 when a starry letter warned of her village's peril. Rushing home, she found her loved ones slain by shadowy creatures. Despite her brave fight, she suffered immeasurable loss that day—her people, her home, and a part of herself like her very own fate was gone. Seeking solace and answers, Oscurity journeyed to the Elven Forest of Calagar. Under the guidance of Lord Thrandalin, she found peace and clarity, eventually setting out to reclaim what was rightfully hers.
She later joined a mercenary group and embarked on numerous quests, facing formidable challenges and adversaries. Together, they achieved remarkable feats, from slaying the red dragon Ashraad to rescuing Quierness Larina and defeating the blue dragon Thunderfang. Their greatest triumph came in thwarting The Crimson Union threat to the North, saving the entire region from their tyranny. Amidst these adventures, Oscurity even gained a pet dragon, a testament to her indomitable spirit and unwavering courage.
Present Day
After The Siege of Fan'dori, Oscurity embarked on a new chapter of her journey, dedicating herself to training her dragon companion, Sparky. Through diligent effort and unwavering determination, she achieved a milestone rarely seen in centuries: she emerged as Araska's first documented dragonrider.However, her ambitions extended beyond mere mastery of the skies. Driven by her unyielding devotion to her deity Luna and her deep-rooted desire for balance, she founded the Students of Twilight. This order, born from reverence for both Luna and her sister Solis, seeks to honor their intertwined legacies.
At the heart of the Students of Twilight lies Oscurity's ultimate aim: to facilitate the reconciliation of the two sister deities, thereby fostering harmony within their shared realm. Through teachings steeped in the wisdom of twilight, Oscurity strives to guide her disciples towards a greater understanding of the delicate balance between light and darkness, and the profound interconnectedness of all things.
