Sulir - God of Hatred and Torture (sule-ear)
Child of Ihther
Upon Ihther's discovery of the outer planes, he created Sulir to watch over the pinnacle planes of evil (The Abyss, The Nine Hells, and Hades). Upon his creation, Sulir was banished by Ihther to these planes before Xutos's arrival to the prime material plane. Sulir understands his role well and upholds his duties benevolently. Although he is attributed to hatred and torture, he holds none of these values, only being attributed to him due to his creations.Watcher of Evil
Upon his banishment to the pinnacle planes of evil, Sulir created three factions to rule over each and contain the innate evil of these planes from leaking into the prime material plane. These factions include the devils of The Nine Hells, the daemons of Hades, and the demons of The Abyss. With these creations, he instilled an innate hatred between the three in the hopes that constant conflict between them would limit their meddling in the inner planes. Although this has been mostly successful, all three factions seek the power the inner planes can give them. Should any of these factions gain enough power to destroy the other two, Sulir himself will interfere and restore balance between the three.Neutrallity in the Dark
Although Sulir is a god of the dark pantheon, his nature of neutrality makes him the only god of the dark pantheon, besides Xutos, that is tolerated by the light. With this, churches to Sulir, although rare, are allowed in territories controlled by the light pantheon. Worshippers of Sulir are heavily opposed to cults of demons, daemons, and devils, believing that any of their presences in the inner planes directly oppose Sulir's dogma. Worship of Sulir is most common with tieflings since their bloodline stems from his creations.
