The Kingdom of Pigidelphia

Pigidelphia is an autonomous city-state located in the southern archipelago of Croyora, on the Vonboro Ocean.

History

Pigidelphia was once the capital of the Kingdom of Okrabremore, a proud nation of aarakocra. The nation aligned with The Empire of Maz Ticca against the Yonad Dynasty, but when the Yonadi were defeated the Maz Ticcans turned on the Okrabremore and subjugated them into their new empire.
The Okrabremore lost much of their status under Maz Ticcan rule, with the other settlements that previously constituted their kingdom becoming desolate. Only Pigidelphia remained as it was, expanding slowly due to limited resources and difficult trading routes throughout the empire.
In the year 407 T.I., the Okrabremore attempted to secede from the Maz Ticcan empire in the chaos following a groundquake which had wiped out one of the larger settlements of the empire. This war of secession lasted for ten years, with the Okrabremore gaining the upper hand, but ultimately being defeated by the Maz Ticcans' overwhelming numbers.
Sixty-five years later, the Okrabremore would make another push for independence. At the same time, The Kodazar Hegemony rose up against the Maz Ticcans. The Okrabremore were able to secure Pigidelphia, but the Maz Ticcans employed a scorched earth tactic which destroyed the remaining Okrabremore settlements. The Okrabremore people relocated to Pigidelphia, and the kingdom was now just the state of Pigidelphia.
