License Band
A license band is an Essential component that is given to Strikkonian Windcrafters who complete their education and earn their license to conduct Essence. The band causes a glowing tattoo-like pattern to appear on a Windcrafter's left arm when they are conducting, the intent being to make it difficult or impossible to conduct Essence without it being seen. Conducting Essence without wearing a license band is illegal in Strikkonia.
